When you choose Catch-a-Bus South
If you have a disability, we'll do everything we can to make sure you have a comfortable journey, and receive the same service as any other passenger when you ride with Catch-a-Bus South.
While some disabilities and needs may be obvious to our employees, some others are not and you may encounter a different driver from one day to the next. It is essential that you always ask for assistance when you need help.

Travelling Alone
You can travel alone on Catch-a-Bus as long as you can travel independently and don't need assistance of a personal nature such as help using the restroom, dispensing medication, or constant care during travel. We can not provide this level of assistance, so if you need it you may prefer to bring a personal care assistant with you.
We can however help you on and off the vehicle, fetch mobility devices from the luggage compartment, and fulfill any reasonable request at the drivers discretion.

Oxygen, Medication, Respirators
You should keep all medicines and medical devices on you at all times throughout travel. Please do not put it in your checked luggage. We cannot take responsibility if it gets lost or damaged or is not accessible to you.
It's fine to bring portable medical devices such as oxygen and respirators with you into the cabin. You will need to ensure they are stored in protective cases with the safety caps on if traveling in the checked luggage stow.

Vehicle Accessibility
Our vehicles require a small level of fitness required. You need to at least be able to step in to and out of the vehicle. We can make sure you have a seat nearby the door so that you don't have to navigate the seating.
Currently we do not have any wheelchair accessible vehicles in the fleet. Wheelchair access is something we have discussed implementing, but are still trying to find the right vehicle for the needs of our service. We apologize for the inconvenience at this time.
