How our service operates
Catch a Bus South operates a door to door service unless otherwise booked (e.g. if you specifically book bus stop to bus stop).
For us, door to door means any SAFE place to stop. This means somewhere off the road, not hindering the flow of pedestrian or motor traffic, no foliage which may cause damages, and somewhere that you can safely access our service. We cannot stop in approved BUS or TAXI stops. We also refrain from using business carparks such as supermarkets or department stores.
Residential addresses with plenty of usually-available off street parking, or hotel/motel pick up/drop off zones are best.
For CBD bookings, sometimes the safest address is the Moray Place, Dunedin or Athol Street, Queenstown stops. We will notify you prior to travel if we need to change your address for safety reasons.

What time will I be picked up?
We aim to start pick ups on or slightly before your confirmed time. Each driver plans their pick up route on the day, prior to travel, and will notify you of your estimated pick up time shortly before pick up. If you have your booking confirmation email and all the information looks correct, you can rest assured you will be picked up.
If you haven't heard from us by approximately 15 minutes post-estimated-departure, please give us a call. E.g. if we aim to start at 1:00pm, give us a call at 1:15pm if you haven't received a message from your driver.
